WP Data Access - Table Builder - Map Integration

The Table Builder supports adding maps to the table's header or footer. The map is drawn using the table data shown on the current page. It is automatically redrawn when the user switches pages, performs a search, or reorders rows.

⚙️ Enabling Map Integration

Clicking the enable switch activates map integration.

Enabling Map Integration adds all Map Builder menu items to the Maps Menu. Please visit the Map Builder section for a detailed explanation of the available map options.

Map Configuration

An integrated map must be configured. For map apps, this is done in the App Wizard or App Manager. For integrated maps, this configuration is done within the Table Builder.

⚙️ API Key

Enter a valid Google Maps API Key.

📌 Changes take effect after the next page load.

⚙️ Latitude Column

Select the column that contains the latitude values for your locations.

⚙️ Longitude Column

Select the column that contains the longitude values for your locations.

⚙️ Map Position

Defines the map's position.

  • HEADER - Adds the map to the table's header.
  • FOOTER - Adds the map to the table's footer.
  • UNDOCKED - Adds a button that the user must click to view the map.

📌 Maps for detail tables cannot be docked.
