Writing a custom app language pack

Premium users can create custom language packs to localize or override existing translations. This feature is accessible from the App Builder toolbar via the Custom Translations button.

🛠️ Creating a Custom Translation

To create your own language pack:

• Click the Custom Translations icon on the App Builder toolbar.
• Choose a fallback language — this will be used for any labels you leave untranslated.
• Enter a name for your custom translation.
• Click OK.
• Provide translations for the labels you want to override.
• Leave a field empty to fall back to the default translation for that label.

🌐 Activating a Custom Translation

To apply your custom translation:

• Open the App Manager for your app.
• Expand the Language section.
• Click Use Custom Translation.
• Select your custom translation from the list.
• Click Apply or OK to confirm.

Your app will now use the selected custom language pack.
